Sylvia is our first Papua New Guinean Staff member for iCareU. Sylvia was one of our greatest stories who has been an inspiration to many women in PNG with her story -‘Beyond the island’ which is our documentary created in 2020.   She has a heart for woman and children living with the effects of HIV, abandonment and abuse. She is an advocate & provides care for women and children through counselling, taking part of initiating and implementing the programs in place by iCARE4U and the team. She brings much hope into the lives of others as she shares her own story.  See the Documentary “Beyond the Island” to have more insight into Sylvia’s story. Sylvia also currently works at one of our local hospitals here in Port Moresby and has the opportunity to refer individual cases and be an advocate for those who don’t have a voice and are in need.
